:star: Self-Service Configurations

We're excited to introduce the Self-Service Configurations feature in Next Identity, empowering users with enhanced control and flexibility. This feature allows users with the necessary permissions to edit specific settings directly, streamlining the management process and offering a more tailored experience. With Self-Service Configurations, you can:

  • Modify the Allow redirect URI list to manage approved URLs for secure navigation and authorization redirects.
  • Edit the App link setting, particularly useful in invite-only registration scenarios, to specify the redirect destination post-invitation acceptance.
  • Enjoy greater autonomy in configuring your environment, reducing dependency on external support.
  • Enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of managing your application settings.

Enhancements

Adopt

  • Client Count and Link Integration: Enhanced the Onboarding dashboard with client counts for different environments and direct links to Project details. This update offers a streamlined overview and improved project management.

Unify

  • Configuration Settings Endpoint: Introduced specific endpoints for configuration settings management at various levels, enhancing consistency and security in settings management.
  • Delegated Access Security: Enhanced security in the Delegated Access feature by reverting admin authorization updates and removing specific scopes. This update strengthens unauthorized access prevention.

  • Journeys Enhancements: Upgraded Journeys API and Hosted Journeys to improve logging and testing.
  • Gateway Enhancements: Improved gateway logs for better Journeys troubleshooting and analysis while maintaining data security.

Bug Fixes

Adopt

  • Client Addition Error Fix: Resolved a critical issue where adding a new client resulted in an error. This fix aligns functionality across environments.
  • Enhanced Email Domain Validation in Just-In-Time (JIT) Migration: Upgraded the migration process to align with existing email domain policies.

Unify

  • Log Length Issue Correction: Fixed a logging error in the Next Identity Journeys to ensure log entries meet length standards, improving monitoring accuracy.
  • User Search Error Resolution: Addressed an issue enabling proper functioning of the User Find API for Web Apps and M2M. Learn more about this API.
  • Activation Flow UI Fix: Corrected a UI issue in the Activation Flow, where the word "Password" was incorrectly displayed during user activation.
