High-Risk Update & Rollback Plan

This release includes changes that may affect system performance and user interfaces. We will closely monitor the system during and post-release for stability and performance issues. A rollback will be initiated in case of critical problems within 15 minutes. Please report any anomalies immediately.

The following changes are included in this release of the Next Identity platform.

• Streamlining Property Interface: Enhanced the Next Identity Console user interface in the Properties section for a more streamlined experience.
• Enhanced UI for Aliases Field: Improved user interaction during project creation and editing with the Aliases field in the Next Identity Console.
• Reversion of Recent Enhancements: Rolled back two recent enhancements due to operational requirements.

• Integration Distribution Chart Enhancement: Improved chart visibility and terminology alignment for a clearer user experience.

• Flexibility in URI Entry: Updated the URI entry process for greater flexibility while maintaining existing validation for duplicates.
• Configuration Management Service Source Transition: Transitioned the Configuration Management Service for increased efficiency and reliability in managing configurations.

Secure

• Enhanced Right of Erasure Reporting: Upgraded our data deletion reporting process for better compliance with privacy regulations.

Unify

• Mobile Account Activation Flow with 2FA: A new screen was introduced in the Mobile Account Activation Flow for streamlined 2FA activation.
• Background Field Update on Themes: Updated the Background field to support JPG, PNG, and SVG formats, along with an increased upload limit.

Infrastructure

• Update to CIDR Ranges for Enhanced Connectivity: In preparation for the Akamai Edge Wave 1 (Partial Deny Mode) launch, we're updating the CIDR ranges to include new stable ranges provided by Akamai.

• Project Access Bug in Next Identity Console: Resolved an issue where opening a project in the Adopt page resulted in a persistent "Loading..." screen.
• Client Creation Error in Onboarding Process: Fixed an issue where users encountered a 422 error during client creation within the Onboarding process.

• Analyze Menu Icon Correction: Resolved an issue where the incorrect icon was displayed for the 'Analyze' option in the main left menu.
• Analyze Integration Screen Environment Default: Fixed an issue with environment setting retention on the Integration screen.
• Integration Distribution Chart Label Clarity: Fixed label overlap issues on the Analyze Integration graph.
• Integration Distribution Chart Data Accuracy Review: Addressed data anomalies in the 'Total Registrations, Activations, and Drop-offs' chart.
• Feature Adoption Link Consistency in 2FA: Corrected navigation inconsistencies in the Feature Adoption section.
• Engagement Screen Data Not Updating: Addressed an issue where the Engagement Screen data was not updating when the user changed the filter period.

• Credentials Tab Access Control: Resolved access control issues for one of our customers in the Credentials tab.
• Data Source Filter Discrepancy: Fixed inconsistencies in data source filter selections in Inventory.

• ReCAPTCHA Validation Error on Activation and Login: Resolved an issue where ReCAPTCHA validation failed, preventing account activation and login.

• Journeys Feature Log Level Limitation: Resolved a limitation related to log level settings in the Journeys feature.
• Environment Filter Persistence in Translations: Fixed a functionality concern with environment filter persistence in the Translations feature.
• Associate Clients Column Sorting Fix: Addressed sorting issues in the Associate Clients section.
• Theme Title Color Consistency: The title color was updated for design consistency in the 'Themes' section.
• Hosted Journeys - 2FA Screen Order Issue: Fixed an issue where the 2FA screen appeared before the optional Biometrics screen and after selecting "Maybe later."
• Global Logo Display Issue on Login Page: Fixed an issue where customer logos were not appearing on the login pages.
• User Registration Endpoint Issue: Addressed a bug where the /register endpoint returned a 422 error during user registration attempts.
• 2FA Verification Error Resolution: Resolved an issue that caused an unexpected error during the 2FA verification process in a specific testing environment.
• /userinfo Endpoint Parameter Clarification: Clarified the need for the client_id parameter in /userinfo calls within our documentation, following inconsistencies observed during UAT testing. This update ensures our documentation accurately reflects system requirements, promoting smoother integration for all clients.
• ID Token Audience Claim Fix: Addressed an issue where some security information was missing from user authentication tokens in specific environments.
• Pre-register API Response and Accessibility Enhancements: Resolved issues that caused unexpected errors and limited API access in certain scenarios. These improvements ensure a reliable and efficient user creation process.
• Login Endpoint Stability Improvement: Addressed an issue that resulted in unstable login behavior under certain conditions. This fix guarantees a reliable and successful user authentication experience.
