High-Risk Update: API Changes Affecting Mobile Verification & User Updates

This update changes API that may affect calculating users with the same mobile number and could potentially impact the "Change Two-Step Mobile" and "User Find/Update" functionalities, as well as "Personal Details" and "Progressive Profile Updates." We are closely monitoring the system and have a 15-minute rollback plan in place. Please report any issues immediately to ensure platform stability.

Connect

• Backend Enhancements: Continued migrating account-related endpoints to further improve compatibility with future IDP integrations and enhance IDP agnostic capability.

• Client Label Removed When No Client Linked to Property: Improved the user experience by removing label when no client is linked to the selected property during user creation.
• Last Secret Rotation Date Added to Inventory Export: Added a "Last Secret Rotation Date" column to the CSV export from the Inventory screen, allowing users to track when client secrets were last rotated for security best practices.
• User Hosted Journeys - Authentication Journey: The foundation for the Authentication Journey feature is deployed but currently disabled. This will allow users to manage client authentication via the Application Management view. Stay tuned for future updates when this feature is enabled.
• Apple Social Login Foundation: Introduced Apple Social Login in the Inventory's advanced search and Client Details screen as part of the groundwork for the upcoming Apple Social Login feature in Hosted Journeys.
• Hidden User Count in Roles Tab: Temporarily hid the user count in the Roles tab for both Service and Application Management views while further updates are planned for future releases.

• Revamp of Security Features in Edit Profile: The Edit Profile section in Hosted Journeys has been revamped with a new "Security" menu that consolidates 2FA, Authenticator App, Biometrics, and more. • Security Update and Build Fixes: Applied security updates and resolved build issues to ensure system stability and security across key services.

• Environment Switch in Engagement Not Clearing Filters: Resolved an issue where switching environments in Engagement did not clear previous filter results, causing incorrect data display.
• Feature Adoption List Inconsistency: Resolved an issue where the Feature Adoption list in the Next Identity console did not correctly reflect client adoption numbers for Risk Detector (Threat Guard) and Google reCAPTCHA.

• Increased Error Rate Issue: Investigated and resolved a spike in errors caused by shutdown issues across key services.
• Name Resolution Failure: Resolved an issue causing temporary failures in name resolution, ensuring proper configuration before sending data.
• Role Duplication Issue in User Management: Resolved an issue where adding a new role of the same type for a different client was overriding the existing role instead of preventing duplication.
• Search Box Loses Focus When Typing: Resolved an issue where the search box lost focus while typing property and client names in the Manage Users section.
• Incorrect Display of Level and Environment in Manage Users List: Resolved an issue where the Environment column displayed "All Environment" instead of the selected environments after updating a user to property level.
• Icons Not Visible in Dark Mode on Client Details Page: Resolved an issue where the copy and view icons were not visible in dark mode on the App Management client details page.
• Missing Client and Property Unique IDs in Next Identity console: Updated client and property Unique IDs for two applications to ensure accurate identification in the Next Identity console.
• Access Denied on App Client Page for Onboarding Viewer: Resolved an issue where Onboarding Viewers received an access denied error when attempting to view the application management client page, while they could view the property page.

• 2FA Toggle Activation Delay for Authenticator App: Resolved an issue where the 2FA toggle in the Edit Profile was not immediately enabled after users set up the Authenticator App.
• Threat Guard Step-Up Skipping with Authenticator App: Resolved an issue where users could bypass the step-up process during login by skipping Authenticator App and mobile number setup, allowing access without verification.
• Setup Authenticator App Issue: Fixed the issue when users encountered an error message when configuring the Authenticator App during registration.
• Biometrics Not Triggered with Authenticator App: Ensured that Biometrics is properly triggered during login and registration when the Authenticator App is present in the settings, correcting the skipped Biometrics offer.
• Biometrics Not Supported in WebView: Resolved an issue where the biometrics button was displayed in WebView, despite biometrics not being supported. The button is now hidden in WebView environments. Learn more about Biometrics support.
