Account Verification
Ensure only verified accounts can access your application, enhancing security, reducing threats, and minimizing the risk of fraudulent account use.
Enabling the Account Verification step in your Authentication journey ensures that only confirmed and activated user accounts can access your application. This feature automatically checks whether an end-user’s account has been verified and activated, preventing unverified or potentially fraudulent accounts from proceeding in the authentication process.
If the user’s account is already activated, the authentication flow continues to the next step. If not, the user is prompted with a screen to verify their account and cannot proceed until the verification process is completed.
Verification can be configured to occur via email, SMS, or Magic Links, depending on your application’s settings. This feature is typically enabled by default or is strongly recommended for all applications to ensure the highest level of security.
Key Functionality
- Automatic Account Check: The system automatically verifies if the end-user’s account is activated, preventing access for unverified or fraudulent accounts.

- Flexible Verification Methods: You can configure account verification through email, SMS, or Magic Links, offering flexibility based on your application’s needs.
- User-Friendly Prompts: Unverified users are prompted with a clear screen guiding them through the verification process to complete their authentication journey.
