Consent Management

The Consent Management feature enables clients to manage different versions of legal acceptances, such as Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy. These versions can be defined at the global level, where they are shared by all clients, or at the client level, where they are specific to individual clients.

Every time an existing user logs in, the Hosted Journey application checks their profile to verify if the legal acceptances align with the versions configured in the client settings. If the user has accepted a previous version that differs from the current one, they are automatically redirected to a screen where they must accept the updated terms before proceeding.

Key Functionality

• Version Management: You can configure different versions of required legal agreements for your application, such as Terms and Conditions, either globally or for specific clients.
• Automatic Compliance Check: Upon login, the system automatically verifies if the user has accepted the most recent version of the terms. If there is a mismatch, the user is required to accept the latest version to continue using the application.
• Localized Policies: The feature supports localized terms based on the user’s locale, ensuring that global compliance requirements are met for each user base.

How it Works

• Version Control: Each client can set versions of their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. These can either be inherited from global settings or customized for the client’s specific needs.
• Profile Validation: During login, the system checks if the user has already agreed to the latest terms configured for their locale. If not, the user is prompted to review and accept the new terms.
• Redirection for Consent: Users with outdated consent records are directed to a screen where they must review and accept the new terms before accessing the application.
